Excellent value incredibly soft high-quality brushes for eyes

I have tried (and own) numerous brushes including from other high-end makeup brands like MAC drugstore brands etc. These brushes are truly amazing quality for the price. They are buttery soft on the eyes and great for blending and applying shadows. The different shapes of the brushes allow for a variety of eye-shadow looks making the set very versatile. This makes a great travel kit because the handles are short (about 3 inches) and they come packaged in a roll with a mirror. The brushes don't shed and stay soft after months of use. High quality bristles and eco-friendly--what could be better? Really the only thing missing is a angled brush (for gel eye liner) which Ecotools also sells separately and in a different kit. I Love this STUFF!

Ok I love full eyelashes. I wore extensions for a long time but they get messy expensive and too much of a hassle after about 6 months. I researched all the lash serums on the market. Many had issues with chemicals being nonFDA approved. I read the reviews for Ardell and decided to try it. WHen I say "IT WORKS" it really makes a difference in the fullness of my lashes. A Last Resort That Is Working!

About one year ago there was a sudden death in our family that was very traumatic. After about 6-8 weeks I noticed that my eyebrows were significantly thinner and lighter. This started my quest for a product that would help regrow my brows. I have tried so many products and used them faithfully but to no avail. My niece had tried this product and it worked very well to fill in an area of her brows that had thinned. But...it was extremely expensive. My daughter was going to be married and while I could pencil my brows in and look fairly natural I really wanted to have more brows. My husband and son encouraged me to try this product. It came about one month before the wedding. I can't say that my brows are back to their original fullness. What I can say is that there is definitely new growth. Also my brows are darker because this product contains an ingredient that gradually darkens the brows. Soft high quality great for mineral makeup

There are 4 brushes in this set. I love them all. The mineral powder brush and the mini kabuki brush are perfect for flawless application of powdered mineral makeup. I have used both the shadow and concealer brushes to apply eye shadow. They work great too. These brushes are very soft and luxurious feeling. And they are very well constructed. I've experienced no shedding.

This stuff really works!!

When I first saw this advertized I was sure it wouldn't work very well because of the low price. There are lash growers out there that are over $160.00. Now I don't know if those work...I haven't tried them because they are so pricey. So I figured what the heck I'll give this Double Lash a try. That was over 4 years ago and I don't know what I would do if they stopped making this stuff. My eyelashes started to grow in about a month and after using it for 3 months I had long beautifully conditioned lashes. The lashes are alot thicker and I never notice any that have fallen on my cheek. This stuff is really a boon to having long lush thick lashes and for the price you can't beat it. The benefits of this product can be seen immediately. You will experience softer smoother skin after the first use and your face will really look and feel squeaky clean. My pimples don't last as long (sometimes disappear in less than 24 hours which never happened before) and my expensive skin care products are more effective. The real reason for the purchase was a bunch of blackheads on my chin and they are diminishing in quantity. Also they are more brown now than black which I could see after using a Biore strip. A great tool!

I was hesitant to buy this at first but I'm so glad I did. It is so easy to use and my face doesn't become irritated like it did when i used my fingers. It gets all the junk out with very little pressure most of the time. And if you have to press a little harder your face wont look busted up! Good Value But Brushes Are Just Ok...

When I ordered this brush set online I was really excited because I read a lot of good reviews about coastal scents products in general. The two main reasons I purchased this set was for the crease and the regular shader eye shadow brushes. The crease brush turned out to be smaller than I expected and it makes certain make up applications look kind of akward. The eye shadow brush was also not as fluffy as I was expecting so it doesn't shade and pick up color as well as I would like. For $16.95 though it's a pretty good value. I really liked the powder fan and taklon concealer brushes. The case is a little ugly but it serves its purpose of holding the brushes. Good coverage quick to put on but not that light

Let's start by saying that in the past few years since I've gotten more an more into natural living I've started wearing less and less makeup. That said I'm still a girly girl so I've never left home without at least some mascara and a little bronzer.



Unfortunately I'm one of those people whose skin mirrors their stress levels so I'm prone to a degree of breakout and blotchiness when I'm very stressed don't sleep enough etc. This set is good for those days when I feel I need a bit more makeup: the foundation gives pretty good coverage (especially if you use the kabuki brush) Warmth gives the perfect glow on my cheeks and mineral veil is fab to achieve that finished look which I never felt I could achieve no matter how much or how little makeup I put on and how long I spend doing it.



Basically with this set you can get a better job done in A LOT less time.



However (and here's why I gave it 4 stars and not 5) if you don't like the feeling of makeup on your skin you probably will be bothered by this especially as soon as you put it on. I gets better after a few hours but when I'm done putting it on I always feel tempred to wash my face and take it all off again because I still get that feeling of "help! my skin can't breathe".



I think most people will be happy with this; as for those of us who are a bit more sensitive we'll have to keep looking and save this for special occasions.



Note: I haven't used the lotion included in the package because I'm allergic to salicylic acid so I cannot review that product.More detail ...

Oh My - it really DOES work!

I am absolutely a skeptic and the only reason I even considered this was I came into work today with a small mountain of a zit on my chin (okay it wasn't a mountain but it felt/looked like one) and was desperate. I knew from experience that popping zits like that don't work and though I faithfully applied a salycilic acid solution all weekend that usually DOES take care of these occasional bothers the thing just got bigger not smaller. So I hopped online and looked at options. I literally ran out at lunch to buy one of these and brought it back to my office to try but not before checking LOTS and LOTS of websites to see what people's experiences were with these. Overall reviews seemed to be that the vast majority of people saw some benefit and since the unit carries a 30-day return policy what did I have to lose.



Got back from lunch and powered the thing up and following directions applied it both to the mountainous Zit and to a smaller one that was making a go for it on my cheek. The result one hour later? The little one on my cheek is just plain GONE... don't ask me how I can't explain it except to read what the directions/product info says about how it works but it's gone. The mountainous one? Down to a molehill after one hour - noticeably smaller nearly immediately and I'm confident already that after I treat this again in a few hours (you can do up to 4 treatments in a day) it will be gone completely.



NO ONE is more shocked by this than me. Like anyone afflicted with occasional acne I've tried just about everything. I'm nearly 50 and my face still breaks out about once a month hormonal no doubt. But it was crisis mode today because I had an important appointment and meeting tomorrow and didn't want my chin to be the center of attention. It won't be. Looking in the mirror right now the difference between this morning when I left the house and now is night and day - the lump on my chin isn't the first thing you see/notice.



The design of the on/off button takes some getting used to- it is very sensitive to the touch and I found myself inadvertently turning it on all the time which requires quick action to stop it in cycle - otherwise it tallies against the 80 uses the unit provides. Also the display lights (power on and the meter showing how many uses you have left) are a little hard to see in bright light- I had to keep holding the thing under my desk or shading it some other way to see the lights though I found this less of a problem in "normal" lighting than in my office lighting which is quite bright. I DO really like the audible signals built into this.



UPDATE: The next morning the mountain was noticeably lessened enough so that it could be covered with makeup and was still there but down to about 1/4 the size of the previous day. I figure another day's treatments of it and it'll be gone. The small one I treated yesterday that disappeared within the hour did not return - still totally gone. This unit is a keeper - it'll stay on my makeup table FOREVER.



FURTHER UPDATE: The day I got this and had some trouble figuring out the on/off button I contacted ZENO by email and was pleasantly surprised with a quick reply offering to replace the unit immediately. Now that I understood how well the thing works I was NOT ready to give it up (!) but they sent me a new one anyway and I returned the one I purchased which also took care of the "uses" I had accidentally tripped on the way to figuring out the on / off thing.



On that issue - here's what I've finally figured out: The unit has a thumb-sized indentation on the side that when you go to pick it up your thumb just naturally slides into. For ergonomic purposes that's just GREAT - but know that when your thumb goes in there it turns the unit ON and starts a cycle. Once you figure that out you get used to picking it up from the sides no big deal. I checked the directions for the unit and they're very simple/easy to understand but while they tell you how to turn the unit ON... they do not tell you that you do NOT have to turn it off (thus my earlier searching for how to turn it off!) You kind of assume that if you turn something on you must later turn it off but in fact after the 2 1/2 minute cycle the unit turns itself off (which is actually very handy!). So what I thought was a bit of a flaw is actually a strength once you understand that the thing takes care of itself once you turn it on - it counts away the 2 1/2 minute cycle alerting you every 30 seconds as it proceeds alerting you audibly when it is done and then just turns itself off. Geeze I wish everything in my life was that self-contained!



I continue to be VERY pleased with this item. I have used it several times on "emerging" zits - the kind you can feel but not really see yet - and they simply never emerge. I've used it on an occasional small blemish that did emerge but one treatment before bed or before I put on makeup and it's taken care of. NICE. I remember when Zeno first came out with the "professional" version of this several years ago and I was interested then but the cost was too high (north of $100). So very pleased that they decided on a consumer version. This is a definite keeper and I will own one ALWAYS.
